The Cross of St Andrew forms the national flag of Scotland, as St Andrew is Scotland's Patron Saint. It is also known as The Saltire. When used as Scotland's Flag, the cross is white, on an azure blue background. This is said to be the oldest national flag of any country, ledgend has it that it was first used in AD832.

"Nessie" as she/he is popularly known, is a creature that is supposed to inhabit Loch Ness, in Scotland. This is Britains largest fresh water lake (called a "Loch" in Scotland). Loch Ness is 23 miles (37 km) long, 1 mile (1.5 km) wide and 755 feet (230metres) deep.
