Clan cousins gathered on Friday evening for the Ceilidh with full buffet dinner and Highland dance instruction
led by Ruthe McPherson. On Saturday morning the Annual Meeting was held with excellent attendance.
Then on Saturday evening the Formal Dinner and Ball was held, which included a program of comments by
RT and Bonnie, toasts, a delicious dinner, awards, and the Transfer of the Convener's Sword. Throughout it all,
there was excellent piping by John Bierens. On Sunday morning the Kirkin 'O' the Tartan presided by Reverend
Ian Hughes was so well attended that being "close cousins" took on a new meaning.
In addition to the formal events of the weekend, a hospitality suite was arranged where members gathered to relax,
renew old friendships, and create new ones. Quite a stir was created all weekend long as we strolled though the
casino in our kilts, and as John regailed Las Vegas with highland tunes. While conventional wisdom dictates that
"what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas", our band of McPherson cousins will indeed enjoy and share memories
of their 2022 US AGM for years to come.
