All officers, volunteers and employees of the Clan Macpherson Museum Trust take the protection of our supporters' personal data very seriously. We aim to protect all of our supporters' details from unauthorised use whether the supporter is protected by law in their country of residence or not. We use the framework of the UK Data Protection Act 2018 as our guiding principal. There follows a statement on how we use supporters' personal data. Personal data provided by a supporter to the Clan Macpherson Museum Trust (CMMT) will be used solely for the purpose of communicating with the supporter to whom the data relates about information and events relevant to the supporter and matters related to the organisation of the CMMT. It will not be passed to any third party for any other purpose unless this is required by law. Any supporter may apply to the at any time to ascertain the accuracy and content of data held. Any information found to be incorrect will be corrected as quickly as possible.

We hold and process supporters' data based on our legitimate interest to serve the objectives as set out in our constitution where such interests are not overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms, and we will protect the data we hold from unauthorised use by any third party. We also process information, where this is necessary, for compliance with our legal obligations.
